Interesting passage:

But the yawn and the associated stretch of the 'stretch-yawn syndrome' have been linked to desire and even of being in love, figuring in the courtship process both in the West and in passages in ancient Indian literature. Seuntjens has even found one pair of authors who described the feeling that accompanies the acme of yawning as a "mini-orgasm".

Yes - I picked up on that bit too! A bit like sneezing?

Apparently, the jury's still out about the reason we yawn. There are a lot of theories but no-one really knows why! Yawning has been noticed in 11-week old babies in the womb!

You start yawning when your oxygen supply is limited, don't you?

What interests me is that yawning seems to be contagious. Have one person in a room yawn, and then look around... everyone is at it! (Yawning, I mean)

Yarning and sneezing always give satisfactory, while one can't say the same thing about sex. Unless it is masturbation, then I can see a connection, fullfillment of need.

This is what I believed too, that yawning is simply a lack of oxygen.

Sex -> high blood pressure -> requires a lot of oxygen -> lack of oxygen -> yawning?
