One of the healthier meats out there, I would say. We eat a lot of chicken. Relatively inexpensive, and less fat than red meat. |

Why don't you discuss it first? What do you like about chicken? |

I probably eat more chicken than I do any other meat. Possibly more than twice as much. It's just easy to get hold of, not too expensive, and has a wide variety of uses. |

I am the same way. we grill chicken about 2-3 times a week and there is always a sale on chicken somewhere at one of the stores |

I don’t have an oven in my flat, so I can’t make grilled chicken, but I often eat fried chicken and chicken salami. |

fried chicken is no good for you. frying it, while it tastes good, basically eliminates all the good things about it.... |

Quote:... Raw chicken can be frozen for up to two months. Chicken is typically eaten cooked as when raw it contains salmonella. Chicken can be cooked in innumerable ways; it can be made into sausages, put in salads, grilled, breaded and deep-fried, or used in various curries. There is significant variation in cooking methods amongst cultures; historically common methods include roasting, baking and frying. Today, chickens are also cooked by deep frying and prepared as fast food such as chicken nuggets or breaded wings. Chickens often come with labels such as "roaster", which suggest a method of cooking based on the type of chicken. While these labels are only suggestions, ones labeled for stew often do not do well when cooked with other methods. Some chicken breast cuts and processed chicken breast products include the moniker "with Rib Meat." This is thought to be the blackish meat surrounding and in between the rib cage. The breast is cut from the chicken and sold as a solid cut, while the left over breast and rib meat is stripped from the bone through cooking or solvents.[citation needed] The resulting meat is reduced and processed with stabilizers and additives into its consumer form, such as chicken nuggets. Breast meat is often sliced thinly and marketed as chicken slices, an easy filling for sandwiches. While chicken bones are not edible, they can be simmered with vegetables and herbs for several hours to make chicken stock. ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicken_%28food%29 And ... more information is available on the linked page. |

Chicken is good, especially if you have it running around your farm or garden, and pluck it for dinner. |

I use a BBQ sauce on my chicken and it is great. i presoak the thawed chicken in it and then brush on additional sauce during cooking and when turning over on the grill. Personally I LOVE Grandeddy Dave's Sauces - you can see more at http://www.davessmokeshack.com/ . they are really the best. |
