Apparently, these are mushroom powers. What's wrong with cooking mushrooms and eating them?

Nothing Smile I enjoy cooked mushrooms myself. Someday, I might ask my wife for a recipe and post it for you. It is really good and often my choice as a side dish.

These mushrooms are not your normal cooking mushrooms, they are medicinal mushrooms and as such this blend is one of the best ways to gain all active ingredients of the seven mushrooms (Reishi Shiitake, Maitake, Lion's Mane, Poria, Wood Ear, Cordyceps). We also have most of these mushrooms individually in various forms. Here are some more mushroom links:

1) 7 Blend Mushrooms
2) Hericium
3) Reishi

You can get mushrooms in wild, but you can also grow mushrooms. Is there any significant difference in terms of nutrition and so forth?

Also where do these mushrooms come from?

Mushroom picking to my knowledge is an art by itself, one must know how to differentiate between the good ones and the poisonous ones. All of our mushrooms are cultivated in controlled environment to maintain the high quality of ingredients.

I have no idea!! I bought the log at a health fair, and followed the instructions, but nothing happened. I still have the log in my back garden...

Mushrooms don't just grow like weed. You need to set up a certain environment for mushrooms to grow. For instance, humidity is a must, and in fact, that's how farmers grow mushrooms. They artificially create a space with high humidify. I don't know what your backyard is like, but my guess is that it's not an ideal environment.

Hmmm..., not knowing what your backyard is like, I can't really say if it's a good place to grow mushrooms or not, but I think it's pretty difficult to grow mushrooms in anyone's backyard. There are wild mushrooms, but they typically grow deep in forest, not where mushrooms get a lot of exposure to sunlight.
