Anyone here have their own family and find it hard to fit exercise into their day?

I have a girlfriend and I have a hard enough time finding time for work, her, and going to the gym. I can't imagine if I had kids. I don't know where I would find the time.

I use my legs as a transportation device. Does this count?

I've just started getting up earlier (6am) to get in a sufficient amount of exercise
also, 2 days a week I ride my bike to work, so the time i'd spend on public transit is now exercise time

This is something everybody should really do. Think about how much less traffic congestion roads would have at peak hours if everybody cycled to and from work?

I have 3 sons but with a little planning, getting a good amout of exercize is achievable, having a busy family is no reason to miss exercize.

"Busy" is just a state of one's mind; it has nothing to do with the reality.

I've heard you say this a number of times, and I've thought about it a lot. But I've come to the conclusion that I don't really agree. Whilst some people *think* they are busy... others actually *are* busy!

I can say this though. Taking drugs and drinking too much alcohol can often make you think that you're "busy." There is really nothing wrong with having a drink or two a day, but having too many drinks can really influence your mental condition.
