I swam the English Channel between England and France when I was 14 - took 6 months of intensive training to get used to the temperatures and currents.

I would take 6 months of intensive swimming to make the distance! Laughing (...I wonder if the currents would perhaps float my bloated cadava to the other side... or would I just be "swimming" forever? Confused )

The Strait of Dover is the narrowest part of the channel, being only 34 km (21 mi) from Dover to Cap Gris Nez, and is located at the eastern end of the English Channel, where it meets the North Sea.

There is some distance ...

the golf handicap came down cause I got a membership package so have been playing once a week compared to once a month.

I was hitting 400-500 practice balls per week but my game was stagnant cuase its different when you get out there and really play.

Well, last summer, I started exercising over 3 hours at 24 hour Fitness. I did cardio for an hour, then I lifted weights, and played basketball. I dropped about 60 pounds in 3 months.
