Post subject: Tomorrow is the big day
I am finally starting back at the gym.
I had a long lay off for multiple reasons, work, injury, etc
Anyway, I am working on what I am going to be doing for my beginner routine and I think that I have it settled.
So wish me luck, tomorrow at lunch will be my first day in 3 months......
I will report back on how it goes

good luck with getting back into it.
I am in a similar situation. after having my appendix removed and pulling a rib muscle playing golf - I am finally going back to the gym myself next week - after 7-8 weeks off. was killing me!

Not good, I am going to have to try again tomorrow.
I had an unexpected site inspection today, so I was away from the office all day, and then had to catch up on a days work in the evening.
Just getting home now, 10:30 my time

Well I got to the gym today, and as for making time for it, there is only so many hours in the day. Yesterday for example I left the house at 7am and returned at 10pm
Unfortunately shit happens, but I am planning on getting better at getting to the gym. My plan is to get there at least 4 times a week from now till X_Mas

I really need to get back into the gym. I used to always go and haven't been in a couple years. It's weird I always felt better about myself when I went to the gym... really need to get back into the swing.
Are you lifting weights or just doing the cardiovascular stuff?

I am doing both. about 30-45 minutes of cardio and about 30 minutes of weights. no wasting time or talking to people.

I either use the bike, the treadmill, or sometimes the elliptical machine.

IMO there are only two ways to go for cardio
First is the rower, there is nothing that gets your heart rate up like the rower. And a distant second is the treadmill. The only thing that I think that might fit in the middle is a run outside in the free air.
Anything else I find too boring to do.....And the bike just does nothing for me...
