AIDS is a serious a problem in China, but what's interesting is that the government has great ability to execute. Given that, AIDS may not be a serious a problem in China in some future; it may not become as a serious problem as that in some countries like India and Southern African countries. That's what Global Funding is saying about China. Chinese government is already taking the problem quite seriously and it has increased its budget for HIV/AIDS prevention and control annually. If they will actually handle AIDS better than other countries, I'm curious to see how they will handle.

I was watching a presentation given by Dr. Richard Feachem the other day; he is secretary general and first executive director of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, an independent public-private partnership to combat these diseases. Good presentation; I highly recommend that you watch if you have time. Anyway, he was talking about how different countries are handling AIDS, and China was mentioned.

I don't know how they handle AIDS. But Dr. Richard Feachem points out that China's ability to execute is just great(and I agree) and that it actually gives us hope that the country can and will handle the problem so much more effectively and efficiently than other countries. How? We don't know and no one knows, but there is some hopeful sign.

Now, you may disagree. If so, why?

I'm curious to know exactly how they took care of SARS. That may give us a hint on how they would take care of AIDS.

With the large population, I doubt the effectiveness of HIV control. Sad

We all know that environment pollutants and extreme temperatures can wreak havoc on your face.

And given this age where one gets so busy, who has the time to get a fancy and expensive skin treatment on a regular basis?

One can be tempted to grab the latest skin products that hit the shelves ignorant about the chemicals one could be slapping on their faces.

So what are the best skin care products to bank on?

To begin with you can check out the anti-acne arsenal. The ingredients to look out for are benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid as well.

And for those with dry skin Hyaluronic Acid (HA) or sodium hyaluronate is most effective and has been scientifically proven to stimulate cell growth.
