Post subject: Training and sleep
Does anyone else find that the more often they train the less sleep they need to feel refreshed?
I am not sure if it is that you need less sleep or if the sleep that you do get is more beneficial. But I do know that if I am not doing anything I can't get enough sleep, but if I am doing something every night all I need is about 5-7 hours sleep and I wake without an alarm clock

more sleep is always beneficial. you need to give your body the rest to accompany the hard workouts. that is basic.

But there have been studies that state too much sleep can be bad for you. Specifically your heart. DO you think that this is a direct affect, or because people that sleep more usually do less.
I can't remember if the study made any specific conclusions.

Well I just posted a topic on sleep but it's a little different than this one.
I don't sleep very much. I don't train either though so I couldnt tell you if that was the case either. I never really feel too tired regardless of how much sleep I have.

How much sleep do you typically get? Is it within the recommended range?
