I hope everyone on this forum has already heard about the looming honeybee crisis (honeybees are dying off for unknown reasons, making it harder to pollinate plants and crops). One of the suggested ways to help the honeybees is to buy locally made honey to help the small beekeepers. Local honey apparently has health benefits too; it contains pollen from plants growing in your area which desensitizes you to the allergens. |

I've not heard about it, as I've not been in the environment to acknowledge it. But, I know about making honey, and what it contains. Most of the companies that do make honey, always add additional artificial sweeteners, and yes local honey is always the most nutrional, as it's made naturally, but it depends where you live. |
