Post subject: Enrollment decline the Children's Health Insurance Program

CHIP is designed to enroll children from low income families in healthcare programs. There is no indication that less children are from low income families today; however, the number of enrollment declined in many states. This is clearly a set back. Some suggest that families simply did not do their part to enroll their children in the program; some suggest that budget cut essentially caused the number to decline.
