Ever popped a diet pill? Were you among the Americans who helped spend an estimated $9.4 billion nationally last year on cosmetic surgery and treatments like Botox and liposuction? If you answered ''yes'' to any of the above, then chances are you're guilty of being a health fad junkie - someone who is quick to yo-yo diet, try the newest metabolism-boosting drug or shell out big bucks for body-shaping surgery. I completely agree; I also think that cosmetic surgery has such high risk today. However, personally, I think that it's their right. Quote:What can be done on the national lever to promote healthy lifestyle as oppose to "diet pills"? TV commercial; I really think it's one of the most effective way to change people's thinking. It's no coincidence that President Bush and Senator Kerry spend millions of dollars to win this coming election. Irony here is that TV is one of the biggest causes of people being obese. I still think TV commercial is most effective though. |

It would be good to see someone like Tiger Woods promote real healthy lifestyle on TV. |

Simple genuine question; is it possible to run TV commercial to let viewers watch TV less? |

Who's he kidding? Maybe he has this secret desire to keep changing his appearance. |
