Post subject: How often do you visit the dentist?

In the UK, we've always been brought up to visit the dentist every 6 months. Recently, it's been in the news that those whose teeth are in good health, needn't go that often. What do you think about this? Some people are suggesting that's it just a way to reduce the queues...

I don't think it's necessary, but I also think that it's pretty important to check your teeth regularly. I feel like once a year should be good enough, but I am not a specialist, so I cannot provide medical reasons for it.
