Do you crave it when you're feeling ill, like with a fever? |

Okay, but when you crave fruit when you're ill, and you eat it, a) how do you feel while eating it, and b) how do you feel a half-hour later? |

Having soup after meal will influence the function of the digestive system, because soup can dilute the digestive fluid. The best time to have soup is before or during meal. Several scoops of pre-meal soup can increase the appetite, and having some soup during meal can help digestion. Funny. Typically you get soup before main dish at restaurant, but I guess it's not the best way to eat soup. |

Is this because our digestive fluids are too powerful for our current needs? |

You want to get something easy to digest, so you want to get something like soup. You want to get carbohydrate, so noodle is a good choice. You get carbohydrate and noodle is easy to digest. I don't know why chicken is the choice. I don't see why it cannot be beef soup or pork soup. I personally like fish soup. |

I'm a big fan of chicken, so that would be my 1st choice. |
