HealthTalx has created the following privacy statement with respect to our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website, HealthTalx.

HealthTalx intends to give the user as much control as possible over his personal information, including registration data. HealthTalx collects information from our website users and registrants. In this section of our privacy policy, we will describe the type of information we collect and how we use it to provide better services to our users and registrants.

We create summary reports for our advertisers using web server log analysis tools. People that make it possible for users to use HealthTalx for free - our advertisers - need this information to determine how effective their advertising investments are. We never tell our advertisers the identity of a user or registrant who saw or clicked on their advertisements unless the user or the registrant has expressly given permission to do so.

Information HealthTalx collects: Optional sign ups: If users wish to utilize certain services located on HealthTalx, they must sign up (e.g., registered accounts on the discussion forum). The information collected when a user signs up for a service can include an user ID, e-mail address, instant messenger ID (MSN ID, Yahoo ID, AOL ID and ICQ ID), name, phone number, address or website address.

Automatic Data Collection And Cookies

HealthTalx employs "cookies" to provide users with tailored information (such as the interface style setting). A "cookie" is an element of data that a website, when visited by a user, sends to that user's browser which, in turn, may store that element on the user's hard drive or memory. HealthTalx uses cookies to better serve users of HealthTalx; all cookies sent by HealthTalx will be marked so that they will be accessible only by HealthTalx subject to this Privacy Statement. However, at his option and at his sole expense and responsibility, any user may block or delete our cookies from his or her hard drive. If HealthTalx becomes aware that a user's personal information provided to HealthTalx has been disclosed in a manner not in accordance with this Privacy Statement, HealthTalx shall make reasonable efforts to notify the affected user, as soon as reasonably possible and as permitted by law, of what information has been disclosed, to the extent that HealthTalx knows this information.
